Terms of Use
Last updated: Oct 2, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
1.1 These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Alpha Human Global Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with CIN U86905MH2026PTC470037 and its registered office at 901, Raheja Eternity, A Wing, Magathane, Thakur Village, Kandivali East, Mumbai – 400101, Maharashtra, India, and its corporate office at A-621, ATS Bouquet, Sector 132, Noida, Uttar Pradesh – 201304, India ("Alpha Human", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of www.alphahuman.in, our mobile application and any related digital interface (the "Platform"), and every product, test, programme, consultation and service we offer (the "Services").
1.2 Our Privacy Policy and any additional terms shown at checkout or for a specific programme ("Additional Terms") form part of these Terms. If an Additional Term conflicts with these Terms, the Additional Term will prevail for that Service.
1.3 By creating an account, ticking an acceptance box, placing an order or simply using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform or Services.
1.4 These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it. They do not require a physical or digital signature. They are published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to register or buy Services.
2.2 A person under 18 may use a Service only with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. The parent or guardian accepts these Terms and makes any purchase on the minor's behalf, and is responsible for the minor's use.
2.3 If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.
2.4 We serve users in India and in other countries, from India. Some Services, especially laboratory and genetic tests, may not be available in every country or state. If you use the Platform from outside India, you are responsible for complying with local laws, and we may decline orders where a Service cannot lawfully be provided.
3. Your Account
3.1 Some features require an account. You agree to give accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated.
3.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Tell us immediately at support@alphahuman.in if you suspect unauthorised use.
3.3 You may hold only one personal account. You may not create an account in another person's name or use another person's account without authorisation.
3.4 You may sign in using a third-party service such as Google or Apple. Your use of that service is governed by its own terms.
4. Our Services
4.1 Through the Platform we offer preventive health and wellness Services. These may include genetic (DNA) tests, blood and other diagnostic tests through partner laboratories, health assessments, personalised nutrition, fitness and lifestyle programmes, coaching, consultations with doctors and other experts, digital tools, and related products. Each Service's scope, inclusions, price and timelines are described on its product page.
4.2 Laboratory tests are performed by independent partner laboratories, accredited by NABL or holding other applicable approvals. For DNA tests, we work with more than one laboratory and testing service provider, and your Sample, extracted DNA and related data may be processed in India or at facilities outside India. Only your Kit ID, name, sex and age are sent to the laboratory, never your contact details or address. For all other laboratory tests, such as blood and omega tests, the partner laboratory or its collection staff collects your Sample directly from you, including at your home, and receives the contact, address and test details it needs to do so and to send you your report (Privacy Policy, Section 5). Consultations are delivered by qualified, registered professionals. Where a registered medical practitioner consults you remotely, the consultation follows the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines issued under the National Medical Commission framework.
4.3 We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any Service or feature. If we discontinue a Service you have paid for and not yet received, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a refund of the unused portion.
4.4 Corporate and sponsored programmes. If you access the Services through your employer, an insurer or another organisation (a "Sponsor"), our arrangement with the Sponsor is governed by a separate agreement. These Terms still govern your personal use of the Platform. Your Sponsor will receive only aggregated or de-identified information, unless you separately consent to share your individual results. Your Sponsor cannot see your Genetic Data. Where the Sponsor pays for the Services, refunds are handled under the Sponsor agreement, and your access may end when that agreement ends.
5. Not a Substitute for Medical Care
5.1 Our reports, scores, plans and recommendations are for general wellness and informational purposes only. They are not a medical diagnosis, prescription or treatment, except where a registered medical practitioner expressly issues one to you in a consultation.
5.2 Genetic results show associations and probabilities, not certainties. Your health is shaped by many factors, including environment, lifestyle and medical history. A genetic result does not by itself mean you have, or will develop, any condition.
5.3 Please consult your doctor before starting any new diet, exercise programme or supplement, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under treatment, on medication or have a pre-existing condition. Never ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Platform.
5.4 The Platform is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
6. Samples and Consent to Testing
6.1 By providing a Sample, you consent to us and our partner laboratories collecting, transporting, analysing and storing it to deliver the Service you ordered. For DNA tests, this includes sending your Sample, the DNA extracted from it and related data to laboratories in India or outside India for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to processing outside India, please do not order a DNA test, because we cannot guarantee that your Sample will be processed only in India.
6.2 You confirm that the Sample is your own, or that of a person for whom you are the lawful guardian or have written authorisation. You must not submit a Sample of another person without their informed consent. Paternity, ancestry-of-others or forensic testing is not offered.
6.3 Please follow the collection instructions carefully. A Sample may fail quality checks because of incorrect collection, contamination or delay. We will offer one free re-collection where the failure is not caused by your negligence. If the second Sample also fails, we will cancel the order and refund you in full.
6.4 You may speak to a genetic counsellor or healthcare professional before ordering a genetic test and after receiving your results. Some results may be unexpected or emotionally difficult. Please consider this before ordering.
6.5 Report timelines shown on the Platform are estimates that run from the date the laboratory receives your Sample. Delays caused by laboratory, courier or other factors outside our reasonable control will not entitle you to compensation, but we will keep you informed.
6.6 Research and development. When you consent to a DNA test, you also agree that we may use your data, in de-identified form, for research and development, including scientific research and publication of aggregate findings, as described in Section 6 of our Privacy Policy. We will ask for your separate consent before using your leftover Sample or identifiable data for research. This does not give you any ownership in, or right to payment from, any research results, products or intellectual property.
6.7 Orders from outside India. All Services are provided from India. For international orders, we courier a sample collection kit to you. You return your Sample to India using the prepaid or prescribed return method, packed exactly as instructed. Your Sample is tested by our laboratories and testing service providers, some of which may carry out part of the processing outside India (Section 4.2). Reporting and counselling are provided from India, and counselling sessions are conducted online. Laboratory tests other than DNA tests are available only where our partner laboratory can collect your Sample.
6.8 You are responsible for following any rules in your country on sending a biological sample abroad, and for paying any customs duty or import tax on the kit unless included in the price. Sample stability limits how long a Sample can stay in transit. If a Sample is lost, held by customs, or arrives unusable because of delays outside our control, we will send one replacement kit free of charge. We cannot, however, guarantee delivery times for international shipments. Consultations are scheduled in Indian Standard Time; the booking screen will show the time in your local time zone where possible.
7. Orders, Pricing and Payment
7.1 Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. The final payable amount, including any delivery or collection charges, is shown before you pay. Charges for international delivery, customs duty or import taxes, where applicable, are payable by you.
7.2 An order is confirmed only when we send you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a Service is unavailable at your location, a pricing error has occurred, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after payment, we will refund you in full.
7.3 Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full card or banking details. You authorise us and our payment partners to charge the payment method you choose.
7.4 Subscriptions. Some programmes run on a subscription. Subscription length, renewal date and amount will be shown before purchase. We will not auto-renew a subscription without your prior consent and any authorisation required under Reserve Bank of India rules. You can switch off auto-renewal at any time from your account.
7.5 Offers, coupons and discounts are subject to their stated terms and may be withdrawn at any time. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
8.1 All sales are final. Once your order is confirmed, you cannot cancel it and payments are non-refundable. This includes change of mind, unused or unopened kits, Samples not returned, missed consultations, and programmes or subscriptions you stop using.
8.2 Cancellation by Alpha Human. Except as set out in Section 8.6, you will receive a full refund only if Alpha Human cancels your order. We may cancel, for example, if a Service is unavailable at your location or cannot lawfully be provided, if there is a pricing error, or if we cannot complete your test (including under Section 6.3).
8.3 Damaged kits. If a kit reaches you damaged, defective or incorrect, tell us at support@alphahuman.in within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs, and we will replace it free of charge.
8.4 Refund timeline. Where a refund is due, we will process it within 7 (seven) working days of the cancellation, to your original payment method. Your bank may take additional time to credit it.
8.5 Your statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law that cannot be excluded by contract.
8.6 Failed and duplicate payments. If your payment fails but your account is debited, your bank or payment provider will reverse the amount under Reserve Bank of India rules. If we receive a payment but cannot confirm your order, or you are charged more than once for the same order, we will refund the extra or unconfirmed amount in full within 7 (seven) working days.
9. Acceptable Use
9.1 You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You must not host, display, upload, publish, transmit or share any information that:
- belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
- is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or promotes money laundering or gambling;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
- deceives or misleads about the origin of a message, or knowingly communicates misinformation or information that is patently false;
- impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or incites any offence;
- contains software viruses or any code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource; or
- violates any law for the time being in force.
9.2 You must also not: scrape, crawl or copy content or data from the Platform by automated means; reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to access the source code; probe, scan or test the Platform's security; interfere with its operation; resell or commercially exploit any Service; or use any report or Service for insurance, employment or legal decisions about another person.
9.3 We may remove content and suspend or terminate access that breaches this section, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
10. Your Content, Reviews and Feedback
10.1 You own the content you upload, such as photos, progress videos, journal entries and messages ("User Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, process and display your User Content only to provide and improve the Services for you.
10.2 We will use your name, photo, video, review, testimonial or transformation story in our marketing only with your separate, specific consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time; we will stop new uses within a reasonable time, though content already published in print or by third parties may not be retrievable.
10.3 Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. We may moderate reviews that are abusive, unlawful, or contain personal data of others, but we will not suppress genuine negative reviews.
10.4 If you send us ideas or suggestions ("Feedback"), we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 The Platform and all its content, including text, graphics, logos, the "Alpha Human" name and marks, reports, programme designs, algorithms, software and databases, are owned by or licensed to us and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.
11.2 We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Platform and your reports for your own personal use. You may download or print your own reports and share them with your doctor or family.
11.3 You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, frame or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.
12. Disclaimers
12.1 We take reasonable care to provide accurate, reliable Services. However, to the extent permitted by law, the Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee any particular health, weight, fitness or other outcome, because results depend on your body, adherence and many factors outside our control.
12.2 We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses. We may suspend the Platform for maintenance, upgrades or security reasons.
12.3 Laboratory tests are performed by independent laboratories, and some content or devices come from third parties. While we select partners carefully, we are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions, except to the extent caused by our own negligence. This does not limit our responsibility for protecting your Personal Data, including when it is handled by laboratories in or outside India, under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
12.4 Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or Services.
13.2 Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for that specific Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alpha Human, its directors, employees and partners against third-party claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any false information or unauthorised Sample you submit.
15. Suspension and Termination
15.1 You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by writing to support@alphahuman.in.
15.2 We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where practical, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, misuse the Platform, or if required by law.
15.3 On termination, your right to use the Platform ends. Paid Services already delivered remain non-refundable, and refunds for undelivered Services will follow Section 8. Your Personal Data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law) will continue to apply.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you may close your account and receive any refund due under Section 8.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
17.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
17.2 Please first raise any concern with our Grievance Officer. We will try to resolve it amicably within 30 days.
17.3 If not resolved, the dispute will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue will be New Delhi, and proceedings will be in English. Arbitration may be conducted online.
17.4 Subject to Section 17.3, the courts at New Delhi will have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents you from approaching a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
17.5 Users outside India. If you live in the United States or another country where we accept orders, nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the laws of your place of residence. This includes, in the United States, the right to bring an individual claim in small claims court.
